  • 1988 – Moved to expanded location on Apache Road in northeast Houston

Plate Rolling

On our in‐house plate roll, we routinely form partial or full cylinders utilizing material up to 1.25” thick, as large as 16’ in diameter and up to 10’ in length. Read more

Machining

When parts require features with tolerances tighter than burning will produce, Cyclone Steel utilizes either of our two CNC vertical mills. Read more

Chad Husky, Plant Manager

Chad took over as Plant Manager in 2006 and is responsible for production and quality. He joined Cyclone after serving in senior operations management positions at Goodman Manufacturing and has 16 years of experience including proficiency in lean manufacturing techniques.

Charles Kott, VP Sales & Marketing

Charles is a Carnegie Mellon MBA and University of Texas Mechanical Engineer. He worked in various engineering and general management positions at Cameron International prior to joining Cyclone.

Ladonna Lesikar, CFO

Ladonna is an Accounting graduate from Texas A&M and a CPA. She joined the company as CFO in 2007 after spending 13 successful years with professional service and systems providers in supply chain businesses.

Steve Lesikar, CEO/President

A Texas A&M Engineering alum, Steve was a senior engineer at Halliburton prior to acquiring Cyclone Steel in 1984. He has over 30 years of experience supplying processed plate to oil and gas related businesses and numerous other industries.

Depending on the material grade, our stock includes thicknesses up to 14”, widths to 120” and lengths to 480” – with larger sizes available on demand.

Manufacturing Services

If you require only cut shapes, we utilize oxy‐fuel cutting, multi‐torch burning, high‐definition plasma cutting as well as CNC beveling technology. Should your components need further work, we regularly provide secondary plate processing including but not limited to rolling, ASME & AWS Welding, machining and testing.
